One of the many, many museums in LA. This one has a pretty special. There are three venues in Los Angeles—MOCA Grand Avenue, The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA, and MOCA Pacific Design Center. I frequented the MOCA Grand Avenue location with their fabulous Gift Shop!
By their own definition, “We question and adapt to the changing definitions of art.” – they always have very thought-provoking exhibits. The most memorable for me is Edward Ruscha’s “Chocolate Room” – yes an entire room covered in chocolate. This happened at the perfect time for me as a parent. My kids were just the right age to introduce them to the joy of art. And it was an easy “sell” to convince my 9 and 5 year-old to spend an afternoon at the museum.
