Just a bit a history downtown. Angels Flight is a piece of Los Angeles’ past – build in 1901 – to bring Angelinos up the steep hills of downtown. It is a quaint little ride up Bunker Hill. Just across from Grand Central Market…have lunch and take a ride.
Angels Flight has had an on-again, off-again relationship with pedestrians. Angels flight was shut down in 2001 after a fatal accident and it took nine years to re-open. Angeles Flight operation was suspended again in 2013 after a minor incident. Let’s hope it re-opens soon.
